Overall, dropout rates in secondary education show a slight decrease from 2022 to 2023 in most provinces. However, Tafea province bucks this trend, with both male and female dropout rates increasing. Gender disparities persist, with males generally experiencing higher dropout rates than females, though this varies by province. Further investigation is needed to understand the factors driving these provincial and gender-based differences, especially in Tafea.
